survey on library vendor services

  • 1.  survey on library vendor services

    Posted Nov 22, 2021 10:50 AM

    Dear Colleagues,

A colleague (Erin Gallagher) and I are doing a global survey on library vendor service expectations that collects the perceptions of both library vendors and library workers (academic and public) and focuses on the expectations of the overall service (not specific product assessment) of vendors providing content and resource management services. The survey collects the priorities and does not isolate any vendor or solicit feedback on the quality of services.

The survey is designed to collect the experiences, priorities, and thoughts of individuals who have been active within the academic/public library or library vendor field, in any country, since 2010. The survey is not designed for a unique or official response from an organization.

I hope you will consider completing the survey and encourage your colleagues to participate as well.

Participants receive a copy of their response by email. Identities of respondents are confidential. Limited contact information (name and email address) is collected as a validation measure; this information is also confidential and will not be shared with any third parties.

This research is planned for publication as a peer-reviewed journal article, with results also to be shared at professional conferences.
