  • 1.  Join me as Co-Chair for TSWEIG

The year continues - and conferences are expected in the future (some in the cyber...and some in the real)...

But, alas, the time has come to ask for a co-chair to join me for Technical Services Workflow Efficiency IG to assist in developing sessions for whatever the midwinter is becoming as well as the Annual Conference.

I now need a co-chair help me put together CFP for midwinter and annual, an occasional posting on ALA Connect and to put together an annual report that details those sessions and our interactions with the Association. The work load is small and is best suited for someone who expects to be able to attend at least Annual - but hopefully both events for a 2-year commitment.

I think this would be super for new CORE members working in any area of technical services.

If you are interested, please e-mail me (Jesse Lambertson) at lambertson@uchicago.edu with some kind of statement of interest.
have fun! I am looking forward to hearing from folks.

I want to thank Gina Solares for her great work the past 2 years or so. It has been a pleasure working with her for the last year.

I big thank you to all who submitted requests and statements of interest to join me as co-chair of TSWEIG,
There were a lot of great 'applicants.'

I wanted to announce that my new co-chair will be Sarah Cruz, Metadata Librarian at Georgia Institute of Technology.

Please join in welcoming her to the Interest Group.
