Barcode label printer for trays & label software

    Hello all!

To help and identify the location for trays and archival materials in our shared collections facility, we print barcode labels and place them on the trays & boxes.

We still have the SATO 8400 barcode printer that we received in 1995!  It is still working great but the IT department recommends that we replace it because of the constant Windows upgrades.  I am sad about it but we need to keep up with the technology!

We are looking for a replacement and I am wondering if any of you could share what you are using to print barcode labels.   Pros & cons?  My supervisor found this one...

Also, we are using Label Matrix...again, since 1995.  I am curious what label software you are using to create barcode labels.

    Many thanks! :)
