     Greetings LLAMA Library Storage Discussion Group Members,

    The New Year is upon us and so is our midwinter meeting in San Diego.   We have a couple of excellent presenters lined up who are ready to talk about print archiving.  We hope that you will be able to attend the LLAMA Storage Discussion Group meeting.  This meeting is conveniently located in the San Diego Convention Center.  See meeting details below.

    2.  Remembering Reese Dill—comments from Tom Schneiter

    3.  Discussion Topics:

    • Lizanne Payne – CRL Print Archives Program Manager and consultant to the WEST (Western Regional Storage Trust) Project

    Lizanne will talk about the state of print archiving and storage facility capacity.

    •  Emily Stambaugh – CDL (California Digital Library) Shared Print Manager

    Emily will talk about the WEST Project which was recently awarded funding in the amount of $653,000 from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to support implementation.

    4.  Updates from members of the Discussion Group.
