  • 1.  First Amendment Auditors

Hi all.  I would like to know what other Directors are instructing their staff to do if a First Amendment Audit Group shows up.  Our current policy is no photographing/videotaping without staff permission and from the person being photographed or videotaped.  Generally if it is a noncommercial use I would approve the filming with the caveat that the person doing the filming would have to get permission from the person being photographed/videotaped.  Commercial use has to go through the film permit process.  I realize there is no definitive answer to this but our policies are under review and it would be helpful to know what other libraries are doing.
