  • 1.  Looking for Technical Services Workflow Study Recommendations

    Posted Dec 16, 2021 09:49 PM

We are preparing to build a new building for our Technical Services Department. We would like to get a workflow study of our department before the design process begins. Has anyone completed something like this recently and can recommend a company or consultant?

We had great success with the previous one in 2005 but would like to consider some additional options.

    Thanks!

I’ve worked on a workflow study of a previous position. The study was based on the Kaizen (continuous improvement) event style to analyze efficiencies. I recommend looking for continuous improvement flow chart templates. I like creating diagrams using a Google Drive add-on called draw.io. It’s fairly easy to use. Continuous Improvement flowcharts usually also include the time it takes for each step to be completed and the waiting time between one step and another.
