Purpose: Explores technologies located within makerspaces, content creation spaces, and the management of such areas. These technologies include 3D printers, computational textiles, light boxes, recording studies, laser cutters, video equipment, and more.

    The Library Technology Conference (St. Paul, Minnesota) will be awarding up to 10 scholarships to attend our March 2019 conference. The goal of these scholarships is to promote library technology proficiency and awareness through attendance at the conference. These scholarships are available to first-time attendees to the conference who fit into one of the following two categories:

    • Current Library Employee - staff members currently working in an academic, public or special library or in a K-12 school media center are encouraged to apply. 
    • Current Library Student - students currently enrolled in a professional library program are encouraged to apply.  

    Each scholarship will cover conference registration (either single day or full 2-day registration fees), as well as one night lodging at one of the conference hotels for those traveling to the conference from outside the 7-county Twin Cities metro area.

    The deadline for applications is Wednesday, November 21 at 4:30 p.m.
