Join Core's Maker Tech IG and Nation of Makers discussion and meeting this Saturday, June 26th, at 2:00 CT.
We welcome all library workers to join the Maker Tech IG and Nation of Makers meeting. Our meetings are an open forum for everyone working in library makerspaces, running maker programs, or looking to build a makerspace in their library. We will discuss best practices with equipment and programs and plans for reopening makerspaces. We'll also give folks an opportunity to ask about equipment, open the floor to questions about starting a makerspace, exciting things about their makerspace that entice participants, and hold a virtual tour of Greene County Public Library's Makerspace.
You will need to register to join our session at ALA's virtual conference, but registration for the entire conference is not required. Register here for this discussion.
We want to hear from you about your needs to help us guide the conversation. If you have a question or topic you would like to discuss during the session please add it to our Padlet canvas.
We look forward to seeing everyone there.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please let us know by emailing Erik Carlson, ecarlson@whiteplainsny.gov
