At ALA Midwinter John Chapman, from OCLC, updated us on the latest activities of OCLC's FAST Project. He also pointed out OCLC's new email list focused on faceted controlled vocabularies used in libraries, archives and museums, FACETVOC-L (this is a great place for questions and discussion related to faceted vocabularies and their uses!)
Janis Young, from the Library of Congress, followed with a very timely presentation on LC's new faceted vocabularies: Enhancing Access to Resources with LC’s Faceted Vocabularies.
