Hello,
The theme of today's wonderful and thoughtful Council Orientation was about recognizing microaggressions and providing microinterventions.
I had a question for Councilors. If we are following Robert's Rules and we see a microaggression from someone speaking what is our role as a bystander?
To get a sense of the Council on this topic, do we:
1) let the person at the podium use their discretion to address it?
2) use point of order to address it?
3) wait until the speaker sits down and addresses it with that speaker then?
Just wondering...
