Today American Library Association members selected the 2021-2022 ALA President and 2020-2023 Councilors-at-Large.
Patricia "Patty" Wong as 2021-2022 ALA President.
As ALA president, Wong will be the chief elected officer for the oldest and largest library association in the world. She will serve as president-elect for one year before stepping into her role as president on June 30, 2021. As ALA Councilors, you will be a part of the governing body of ALA set to plan and carry out programs and activities with policy established by Council.
