Connexion Client Macrobook Updated

    The OCLC Connexion Client macro, GenerateERecord, part of the OCLC Macro book, has been updated with the following changes:

    • The default field 588 first indicator position is now set to 0 and the source of description text has been modified accordingly
    • The macro no longer adds a 655 4Electronic books
    • The default ELvl code has been changed from K to 7

    The macro is written for Client version 2.63 and the installation instructions are for 2.63.

    The updated OCLC macro book can be downloaded independent of Connexion client on the OCLC Help site.

    You may contact Customer Support (support@oclc.org) to assist with converting the macro book to 3.1 as it is not yet included with the current client distribution for either version.
