    Colleagues,

At Annual 2018, Rebekkah Smith Aldrich presented the final report of the Special Task Force on Sustainability to the ALA Council.   The first recommendation of the final report was to adopt sustainability as a core value of librarianship.

Attached please find the resolution developed by the Special Task Force.  If you would like to endorse or become a seconder, please let me know as soon as possible.

    Hi Everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone can give some clarification on the second resolve clause: "Evolve accreditation standards to ensure the topic of sustainability is an inherent element in library school curriculum." Does anyone have more detail on what that would look like?
    Thanks!
