We're looking for a few awesome Rainbow RT members to run for Executive Board!
Nominations to run for ALA Council, committees, divisions, sections and yes, Round Tables in the 2020 ALA Elections in the spring will be accepted through December 4, 2019.
Rainbow RT Executive Board openings are:
- Chair-Elect
- Secretary
- Directors-at-large
Attached is the Rainbow Round Table Leadership Responsibilities document. This document was updated from roughly March to May of this year from its previous 2013 version and is an accurate representation of what the board members do.
Being on the RRT's Executive Board has given me invaluable ALA and round table leadership experience, in addition to being a great way to make friends and get to know quite a few of our members on a more personal level while contributing directly to the mission and work of the RRT. It's been an incredible honor and a pleasure serving, and if you're interested, I highly recommend it!
