Apologies if this is very vague and if this isn't the best community to post -
but do Cataloging and Metadata specialists have different strengths, weaknesses or 'bends'? I mean, can a cataloger do well in one library setting (academic or medical) but may not adapt as well in another library setting (corporate, school or public)?
I think a cataloger can adapt - but in terms of thriving in certain library types... I'm not sure.
I guess I'm looking at this from an Industrial/Organization Pysch approach.
I'm very curious as to others' thoughts and opinions.
