The ALCTS Scholarly Communications Interest Group hosted the panel discussion, Library-Press Collaboration: How do they work together to advance scholarly communication?, on June 25th during the ALA Annual Conference. Raym Crow (SPARC) was the moderator and the panelists were James Mullins (Purdue University), Kizer Walker (Cornell University), and John Wilkin (University of Michigan and HathiTrust). The panelists' presentation slides and the audio recordings of this event are available below as attachments. (Due to ALA Connect's file size restrictions, the original recording had to be divided into smaller files.)
We would like to thank Jim, John, Kizer, Raym, and the participants for an engaging discussion. As Raym mentioned, a variety of resources for library-press partnerships are available from SPARC's Campus-based Publishing Resource Center.
