    Hi All,
I would like to share with  you the resolution to Honor African Americans Who Fought Library Segregation.  It is my hope that the resolution will be on the Sunday ALA Council Agenda.

If you would like to endorse or second this resolution (seconders must be ALA Councilors) please let me know.  In addition, if Divisions, Committees or Roundtables wish to endorse, please let me know.

The language has changed slightly thanks to the help of the ALA members - and I believe it is stronger and clearer as a result.  Thank you to the members of the working group - LaJuan Pringle, Jessica Schomberg, Aaron Dobbs, Nichole Shabazz, Eboni Henry, Trevor Dawes and the members of the Committee on Professional Ethics as well as the individuals who emailed me with wording and content suggestions.

    Thanks
    Sara
