Provides a discussion forum for librarians and others whose interests include selection, collection development, and collection management in public libraries of all sizes.
Join us in New Orleans for the Collection Management in Public Libraries discussion group. This group is open to anyone interested in collection development and management issues in public libraries. We will be discussing a variety of topics, including budget allocations, downloadable media, and eBooks. If there are other topics you'd like to see covered, please contact Bleue Benton at email@example.com.
We wil be meeting on Monday, June 27, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm in Convention Center Room 287.
In addition, we seek a volunteer to serve as co-chair of this group. You must be a member of ALCTS, and able to attend both Annual and Midwinter conferences. It's a lot of fun! If you're interested, contact Bleue Benton at firstname.lastname@example.org.
