Have you ever wondered about the different models of acquisitions and the way in which publishers, vendors, and librarians affect the marketplace? Have you ever wondered about the issues libraries/librarians have with publisher/vendor-supplied MARC e-book records and if there is anything I can do about it? Have you ever wondered what role you can play in improving relationships among publishers, vendors, and libraries?

These are the topics of recent ALCTS PVLR (Publisher-Vendor-Library Relations) Interest Group sessions at ALA Annual and ALA Midwinter. Do you have a topic that you would love to hear about at PVLR Interest Group Session but don't know how to make that recommendation?

Please join us at the PVLR Interest Group planning meeting on Saturday, January 9th from 4:30-5:30pm in Room 154 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center where we will gather topics, ideas, and suggestions for upcoming PVLR sessions.

    Everyone is welcome!
