    I'm happy to announce that Dr. Robert Maxwell, Brigham Young University, has been appointed by Core as ALA representative (one of two) to the North American RDA Committee (NARDAC), replacing Dominique Bourassa, Yale University, former ALA representative and NARDAC chair. Dr., Maxwell is well known to the ALA community as the author of Maxwell's Handbook for RDA and FRBR: a Guide for the Perplexed  and as an expert in rare materials cataloging and cataloging standards. Congratulations, Bob!
