Thanks to all who participated in our New Division E-Forum, which took place on November 27 and 28, 2018. Great conversations took place in the forum, and the communications working group wants to make sure that those conversations can continue! Please take part in this thread and the other six (linked below), and respond to anything that catches your attention.

    The Other Discussion Threads:

    Q1: Current Membership Perks

Q2: What should we take forward?

Q3: What should we leave behind?

    Q4: Much Excite!

    Q6: Finding Your Home

    Q7: Continuing the Conversation

This is Thread Q5: Future Membership Benefits

Put yourself in this New Division, five years in the future: What is the division offering to keep you engaged? What are your takeaways from the division that keeps your membership active?

Connect back to yesterday's conversation about what you would hate to lose and think about specifics. How are you consuming continuing education? How are you connecting with other division members, virtually or in person? How is the division supporting members from beginning to end of your career?

    Forum Responses:

In a new division, participants would most like to see continuing education in a free format, and to see existing publications continue. An affordable annual event and opportunities to serve meaningfully, over the course of your career, were also mentioned. Other ideas included adding interactive learning communities, where division members could meet in their area or region over topics of shared interest, and having the division lead the way in more accessible/virtual continuing education models.
