Join us for a LLAMA LIS New Professionals webinar, "Elevate Your Telephone Game: Phone Interview Tips for Library and Information Science Professionals," on phone interviewing tips. Whether you're a seasoned professional or new to this profession, our speakers will share informed perspectives on navigating the telephone interview process.

Interviewing over the phone can be as nerve-racking as in-person interviews. How should you sound? What should you wear? What does your space need? Da'Vian Smith (he/him/his) will walk workshop attendees through the do's and don'ts of phone interviews for public libraries.

The academic interview process can be daunting and the phone interview is just one chapter in the saga. Allison Jennings-Roche (she/her/hers), a librarian at the University of Baltimore, will share specific strategies for preparation so you can use this opportunity to share the best parts of yourself with the committee. Human beings are wired to process stories, and as an interviewee, you have the opportunity to craft your own narrative.
