Calling all Councilors!!
Yesterday, ALA President Julius Jefferson launched "Holding Space: A national conversation series with libraries." Originally scheduled as an in-person, cross-country bus tour, the revamped-for-our-moment virtual tour will transport Julius and participants from Washington, DC, to Honolulu, Hawaii, over 12 tour stops in 10 days. Julius will visit public, academic, school and state libraries. In conversations with library workers, library advocates, community partners, and lawmakers from all levels of government, Julius will explore themes including:

Julius has been clear from the outset that he intends this to be an advocacy tour.
