ALA has released official monthly membership numbers through January 2021 and the most recent official counts are attached for your reference. These reports are linked to our financial close and will now be released in batches quarterly. In the meantime, we have also been pulling informal membership statistics. The informational membership counts ones from May are attached as well but do not include section counts. Those can be provided by request.

If you ever have a question about your membership counts, please contact your staff liaison and/or Melissa Walling, Director, Member Relations & Services at mwalling@ala.org.

I have been told that our membership committee still can't get even estimated membership number counts by sections.

Engagement is also very important.
