I am writing to you in my role as chair of the Intellectual Freedom Committee. We are planning to bring a resolution on facial recognition software to Council as part of our report for the Midwinter Virtual Meeting and are inviting your feedback on the draft:

So that the committee may consider your feedback at our January 14th meeting, we would request that you comment by January 13th, 2021. We will also bring this to Council Forum for discussion, so there will be multiple opportunities for input before we bring it to Council for formal consideration.
