Yukari and Debra shared their experience of automating backlog records searching by using OpenRefine and OCLC WorldCat Search API. As the result of implementing this workflow, staff time spent on record searching manually reduced and the productivity increased.

Streamlining the Silos - Collaboration with Curators and Using Alma to Conquer Multiple Workflows

Whitney and Charlene talked about their effort to establish and implement a streamlined acquisition workflow at the Special Collections division. Their presentation also touched on other issues, including taking advantage of the functionalities of their local integrated library system, getting the buy-in from stakeholders, and enhancing communication and efficiency cross the system.
