Hypergrid Workshop: Jump across Virtual World Libraries

When:  Aug 16, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM (PT)
With virtual environments expanding due to the pandemic, the ACRL Virtual Worlds Interest will share an interactive workshop to help learn how to hypergrid jump across immersive platforms. These environments are built on open source code from the virtual world of Second Life.  The Community Virtual Library has a Hypergrid Resource Library and a Digital Citizenship Museum in Kitely.

WHERE: Kitely (a virtual world where you can create a free account with an avatar)
WHEN: SUN August 16th Noon Pacific Time/ 2pm Central

Instructions for arrival at the workshop
After creating your avatar in Kitely, you will need to access the environment with a viewer.  Firestorm can be downloaded here to access open simulator places: https://www.firestormviewer.org/choose-your-platform/
