The Association of North Carolina Health and Science Libraries (ANCHASL) is holding their Virtual Fall Meeting and CE class on Thursday December 12th from 1-3pm EST. Taught by Julie Esparza, topic of the class will be on Visualizing the Value of Researcher and Institution Publications and offer 1.5 MLA CE credit hours for attendees. During the class, attendees will hear about the background of iCite and how it works. They will also learn about the Relative Citation Ratio used to show impact factor. Next, they will use an author name or institutional grant citations to determine the value of the author citations or the value of the grant citations for the institution. Attendees will examine the results through the Influence, Translation and Citations that are attached to the publications.
