We invite you to share this information with your colleagues, state library associations, and professional networks. These opportunities are ongoing, open, and free to all library workers. Plus, LWC offerings don't require professional memberships or affiliations!

Dear colleagues,

We hope you had a pleasant summer! The Library Writing Cooperative has been preparing for the new academic year, and we want to share the following opportunities with you.

• Monthly Writing Time is back! Join us for some or all of our monthly two-hour blocks dedicated to writing, no matter what stage of the process you're at. 

• First Draft Matchmaker 

• Authors: get feedback on your first draft! If you've written an article, book chapter, or practically anything for publication in the library world and would like a friendly colleague to provide feedback to help you polish it before official submission to a journal or other outlet, we'll find a reviewer for you.

• Volunteer Peer Reviewer: Would you like to use your experience to give another library worker encouraging and helpful writing feedback? We welcome new reviewers and will reach out when we have a match for you. (If you've previously signed up and haven't heard from us, we still have you on the list. No need to re-register!)
