Colleagues
I received a promotional email from Eric from Consensus today. It was highlighting their product and criticizing library-vendor databases. So I did a few searches on Consensus. One thing I noticed is that some of the links to sources pointed to web pages that were outside my library's subscriptions. Say it goes to a journal article page on Liebert publishers, but we have access to the title on HeinOnline. For the library databases we usually have our link resolver set up to help our users connect to content but I didn't see any options for libraries to set this up with Consensus. One thing we've been rolling out is LibKey Nomad (see my libraries' FAQ), and that seems to help in some circumstances like these, to get a researcher to an article. Just a logistical thing I wanted to share.
Thanks
Brett
