    Western Kentucky University Libraries seeks an innovative and collaborative leader to serve as Department Chair for the newly merged (and yet to be named) departments of special collections and technical services (hereafter referred to as the department). The department includes the following areas: acquisitions, cataloging / metadata, special collections, archives, and electronic resources. The successful candidate will set the vision and strategic direction for the department and will guide the library's overall collections strategy.

    This is a 12-month administrative faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor or higher. As a member of the WKU faculty, the successful candidate will actively engage in service and research / creative activity.
