Are you a student or early-career librarian/archivist who self-identifies as racialized or Black, Indigenous, Person of Color (BIPOC)? Do you have a project/internship in mind that you would like to get paid for?
The ARLIS/NA Compass Award provides $3,000 USD for a project-based internship that entails a minimum of 100 hours of work to see a project through to completion at an institution of your choice. The internship will take place in the 2025 calendar year. The award also provides a one-year ARLIS/NA membership, an ARLIS/NA chapter membership, and funding for attendance at the annual ARLIS/NA conference.

Submissions are due on September 15, 2024 and can be submitted via Google form or compass@arlisna.org. An information session about the Compass Award will be hosted August 20, 2024 at 1:00 PM (EDT), 12:00 PM (CDT), 11:00 AM, (MDT), 10:00 AM (PDT).
