Charge: The composition and the duties of the Board of Directors are defined in Article IX of the ACRL Bylaws: Board of Directors. The Board of Directors shall have general oversight and direction of the affairs of the Association. It shall conduct all business pertaining to the Association, and shall have authority to make decisions for the Association during the periods between meetings.

    The Board is invited to review the attached documents regarding the ACRL Statement on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and the Print Collecting Imperative, and have discussion during the period of 9/23/2020–9/29/2020. 

    If you have comments or questions regarding the ACRL Statement on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and the Print Collecting Imperative, please use threaded discussions in response to this ALA Connect post. 

    Following the discussion period, the Board will vote on the request to approve the ACRL Statement on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and the Print Collecting Imperative via virtual vote during 9/30/2020 – 10/6/2020, and confirm its vote at the next synchronous meeting.
