    On Friday, October 25, 10 a.m. ET, join the first of a four-part webinar series organized by Cornell University Library that brings together librarians and thought leaders around the world to address the challenges outlined by the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.

     

    Titled "The Global Impact of Academic Libraries," this first webinar will be hosted by Gerald Beasley, the Carl A. Kroch University Librarian of Cornell University, in conversation with the following guest speakers:

     

    • Thanos Giannakopoulos, the chief librarian of the United Nations Dag Hammarskjöld Library
    • Anne Horn, the president of the International Association of University Libraries, and the director of library services and university librarian of the University of Sheffield
