    On September 8, 2026, Dr. Frances Alvarado-Albertorio, Graduate Initiatives and Engagement Librarian at Oklahoma State University and a co-developer of the "Knowledge and Understanding" section of the competencies presented and led a discussion on the AI Competencies for Academic Library Workers and the Knowledge and Understanding section.
