My institution (Kansas State University) is hosting an AI Symposium from Nov. 10-12. It's a bit unusual in the variety of topics and speakers. We (I'm a co-founder) built it that way intentionally to foster conversations among researchers, educators (including librarians), students, and industry.
I encourage you to take a look at the list of sessions (opens as a pdf). You'll see 95 sessions, including an AI Hack-a-thon, 12 workshops, and 4 keynotes. While most of the sessions are in-person only, there is a virtual track with 25 sessions (including the 4 keynote presentations). Topics include AI literacy, ethics, policy, societal implications, educators' responses to AI, student responses to AI, parents and AI, work use-cases, and many more.
If you wish to register, you can do so from our website.
If you have questions, you can reach out to me at coleman@ksu.edu.
