    Hello everyone!

Erin and I met to discuss the results of the Virtual Panel Evaluation, and the full results are attached.

    Main points:

    • 20 people completed the evaluation.

    • Most felt it was relevant or very relevant to the topic of information literacy instruction.

    • Most felt it was about average when it comes to helping learn new teaching strategies or ideas.

    • Most felt the format was average or above for the topic.

Based on the comments, people liked what they heard, and liked the format.

The tech issues were the biggest drawback, but some of the respondents indicated that they understand how this can be a challenge! Some noted that they would like to see more general presenters, not so undergraduate- or institution-specific.

One commenter wished for "members whose institutions have actually done more with the Framework," but Erin and I agreed that with the Framework being so new, this would be a bit tough!

There are some suggestions for future topics.

Please feel free to comment, otherwise this is informational in advance of our meeting.

Erin and I really liked the fact that Google Forms makes it easy to get a quick report like this, and recommend it for future evaluations.

Thanks so much for putting this all together, Erin and Amanda!

We did get some really useful feedback that will certainly help in next year's planning.  I look forward to our discussion at next Monday's meeting.
