Dance Librarians Discussion Group update

    Hello all,

My apologies for the radio silence in this group.

I was unable to attend ALA Annual in June 2015 (my daughter was born in July, and I was unable to fly to Annual while I was 8 months pregnant). I had requested to step down as convener in advance of this, but no replacement was made.

I have now been asked to continue as convener for this year, so we will be meeting at Annual in 2016 in Orlando. Programming for that meeting will be forthcoming.

In the meantime, last year we were charged with increasing awareness of this group. In that light, I created a Facebook group as a way to more quickly share information with each other. Feel free to share information about collections, articles, or pose questions to the group. The Facebook group can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1671339179802245/

Note: I'm going to be disabling the older Facebook Page, which wasn't allowing information to be shared well. All visitor comments were getting stuck in a sidebar. The Group format should be an improvement.
