    While it may be hard to believe, the ALA Midwinter 2013 meeting is fast approaching; this time it will be held in the moist and verdant city of Seattle, Washington.

    The meeting will take place on Saturday, January 26th from 4:30-5:30 pm PST at the Westin Hotel, Cascade I. Please send me your ideas for discussion topics and agenda items by December 28, 2012.

    Also in the works is a tour of the recently opened STG Historic Theatres Library (at the Paramount Theatre) for DLDG Midwinter attendees, date/time to be announced. Please drop me a line if you will be attending Midwinter and are interested in the tour.

    In addition, we once again will be having a bonus virtual DLDG meeting, which has been scheduled for Friday, February 15, 2013 at 2:00 pm EST / 11:00 am PST. More details will be available in the new year, but mark your calendars now. This event will feature a special guest whom you won't want
    to miss.
