    Presentation by Dr. Jody Weber, author of The Evolution of Aesthetic and Expressive Dance in Boston (Cambria Press, 2009)

    Jody Weber is Assistant Professor of Dance at Bridgewater State College.  She holds a PhD from Boston University, an MA from American University, and a BFA from SUNY Purchase.  Dr. Weber’s research has been presented through the Dance History Scholars Conference and the Hall of Black Achievement at Bridgewater State College.  She also worked on the Boston Dance History Survey Project through the Boston Dance Alliance that established the foundation to build an archive on local dance history.  Dr. Weber is also the Artistic Director of Weber Dance, a contemporary dance company based in Boston, Massachusetts.
