Planning for ALA Annual Meeting

  • 1.  Planning for ALA Annual Meeting

    Posted Apr 13, 2021 04:18 PM
    Hello Assessment Colleagues:

The ACRL Assessment Discussion group will be convening virtually at ALA during its Annual Meeting in June 2021.

The topic under discussion will be:  Assessment (or Not) in the Time of COVID.

Library professionals have been occupied with many changes necessary to ongoing library operations during the COVID pandemic.
How are libraries best adapting to these new campus realities, requiring us to reconsider how we provide services, access to resources,
    and manage our physical spaces?

    • What new opportunities does this provide us for assessment?
    • How have planned assessment projects been changed (questions, methods) due to changed circumstances?
    • Or,  has our assessment program taken a temporary back seat as we deal with other, more immediate concerns?
As a first step in organizing this discussion, I am requesting feedback on preferred times for our meeting via a Doodle poll. Please take a moment to weigh in.

This will be a virtual discussion, and details for participation will be forthcoming.
