Charge: The composition and the duties of the Board of Directors are defined in Article IX of the ACRL Bylaws: Board of Directors. The Board of Directors shall have general oversight and direction of the affairs of the Association. It shall conduct all business pertaining to the Association, and shall have authority to make decisions for the Association during the periods between meetings.

    The Board is invited to review the attached Board discussion form (Doc 1.0) and draft Environmental Scan 2019 (Doc 1.1) from the ACRL Research Planning and Review Committee, and to submit feedback on the draft document. To meet the committee's deadline, please post your feedback using the below comment section by April 21, 2019. Following the April 21 deadline, staff will compile your feedback for the committee.

    I had a chance to read through the Environmental Scan and found it thorough and inclusive.  As a community college librarian, I was glad to see many of the issues identified in the scan are highly relevant to my work now and to plans we're making in my library for the future.
