Dear ACRL Division-level Committee Leaders,
Thank you for the great work this year progressing the goals outlined in your 2018–2019 annual work plans! The activities your committees completed align your committee charges with the ACRL Plan for Excellence.
As you wrap-up this year and look to next, I'm providing some details on your year-end reports and next year's work plans that committee leaders will complete this summer. In the fall, the ACRL Board of Directors will receive your completed reports and work plans to review progress made to the ACRL Plan for Excellence.

Report & Work Plan Template
Please use the combined template (PDF, Word) for your committee's 2018–2019 year-end report and 2019–2020 annual work plan.
The fillable PDF template is pre-populated for up to 5 10 (revised 7/16/19 to include additional projects) work plan projects. Please only complete for the number of projects needed for your committee. If you need additional sheets, contact apayne@ala.org.
2018 - 2019 Reports
Current chairs are responsible for completing the year-end report for activities from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019. Please work with your committee members and Board and staff liaisons to complete this report. Draft reports should be shared with committee members by no later than July 12 and final reports should be posted to ALA Connect and sent to apayne@ala.org by July 19.
2019 - 2020 Work Plans
Incoming chairs (with terms starting July 1, 2019) should work with their committees and Board and staff liaisons to complete work plans for the upcoming cycle for July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. Component Committees should further coordinate work plans with Coordinating Committees.
As a reminder, your Board liaison is the one who has the final sign-off on your work plan. Board liaisons will consider the annual work plan review criteria when reviewing draft work plans for approval. Draft work plans are due July 27 and final work plans should be posted to ALA Connect and sent to apayne@ala.org by August 9.
Committee Meetings
Committee members should plan to discuss the annual report and work plan at their upcoming meetings at the ALA Annual Conference in Washington, DC. Meeting times and locations have been posted on the scheduler.
If your committee is not meeting in-person at Annual, committees are encouraged to meet virtually before or after Annual. If you'd like to schedule a virtual meeting, please complete a request through LibCal.

Visit the ACRL Directory of Leadership and login with your ALA member ID. After clicking your committee, contact info will appear. Note: you may need refresh your browser.
Visit ALA Connect to upload your reports and work plans with your committee. To login, click the blue sign-in button in the top-right corner. To find your committee, select the drop-down arrow in the top-right corner next to your name and click "communities."
A PDF compilation is available if you'd like to reference reports and work plans that were submitted last summer. Each committee is bookmarked within the PDF.
