I will be sending out an agenda for our committee meeting soon, but I need to submit a description for our update session by Monday the 9th and I'm hoping for some feedback from committee members. Our Sunday session is scheduled for 1-2:30.
In the past, the VAL committee update session has taken place in an auditorium style setup, but this year I requested a room with tables and chairs. I was hoping to have a more interactive session at midwinter. While the first part of the update will focus on what the committee has done, and information on the next AiA group and application process, I'd like to use part of the time for more discussion at small tables and wanted to hear back from committee members if you would be present and able to be at the tables to help facilitate discussions and record group discussions. I was hoping we could collect feedback from participants along the lines of the following questions:

I'm working on a report for our activities and progress on our goals since July and will share the draft with the group for feedback before submitting it by Dec. 16th.
Hope the end of the semester is going well for all of you, and I'll look forward to seeing many of you in Philadelphia in January.
