    Dear Committee members,


    The Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education Task Force has just released the third draft of the proposed FrameWork for Information Literacy for Higher Education. The Task Force has set a deadline of 12 December for comments and feedback; Task Force members don't expect significant changes but will monitor the comments and keep us up-to-date.


    We will meet virtually to review the final draft so that we can get the necessary paperwork to the Board in time for the Board to review the standards at Midwinter. I'll coordinate the timing of our virtual meeting with the Task Force and the Information Literacy Standards Committee and will let you know as soon as I have more information.
