During the 2013 ALA conference, the ACRL's Diversity Committee held a meeting on Sunday, June 30. The meeting was led by Martha Parker, 2013 ACRL's Diversity Committee, Vice-Chair. At that session, we received feedback from several institutions and colleagues looking for ideas and guidelines for implementing the ACRL's Diversity Standards for Academic Libraries.

Assessment: How will success be measured? (e.g., what indicators will be used, what tools will be used to collect data, and what targets will indicate success)?
We will measure the success of creating the Diversity Toolkit by tracking statistical data to the site (visits, hits per page, etc.), and also by tracking requests for edits or additions to the toolkit along with our ability to respond to those requests in a speedy manner.

Activity/Project Name and brief description:
- Publishing the Toolkit thorough the ACRL- Publishing the Diversity Toolkit through the ACRL was an idea presented by Mary A. Sheble, ALA liaison, during the meeting. We will take all steps necessary to make the toolkit publishable.

Assessment: How will success be measured? (e.g., what indicators will be used, what tools will be used to collect data, and what targets will indicate success)?
Measuring the success of the diversity toolkit by the ACRL will depends on implementation of either one of the two tracks proposed. Track one is to migrate the toolkit to an ACRL platform like the examples provided by other toolkits within the ACRL’s resources. Track two is to simply add the toolkit’s url to the Diversity Committee Resources section. We already have two diversity resources listed under this section. The diversity toolkit fits in perfectly.

We will consider the diversity statement to the IL Framework committee a success by receiving an acknowledgement from the committee of receiving the statement and a review of our concerns. Hopefully, there will be a follow up from the IL Framework committee. However, we simply wanted to point out the voids and the opportunities for more inclusive language and service.
