Meeting day and time at 2019 Annual

    Hello all,

    Requests for meeting space for Annual 2019 are due to ACRL early in December.  In New Orleans this year, we met on the Sunday morning from 8:30-10:00 with committee meetings following that.  Our options this year are Friday through Tuesday during the following time slots:

    8:30–10:00 a.m.

    9:00–10:00 a.m.

    10:30–11:30 a.m.  (Unavailable on the Tuesday)

    1:00–2:00 p.m.

    2:30–3:30 p.m.

    4:00–5:00 p.m.  (Unavailable on the Friday)

    4:00–5:30 p.m.  (Unavailable on the Friday)

    It may be easiest to ask for the same time slot again in 2019.  However, if enough people would like that to be a different day and time, we can set up a doodle poll.

    I think we should steer away from Friday, because some people travel on Friday.

     

    My first thought was stick with the usual, and then I realized that I would appreciate not having a meeting on Sunday morning.   Other than that, not rooting for anything in particular.

    I actually like early mornings for these meetings, because there're fewer competing events on the schedule.

    Greetings! I see some value in continuing with the same day & time as last year, but would be open to other options. As someone else mentioned, I would avoid Friday.

    Good morning,
    It seems that Sunday mornings tend to work best - Friday and Monday are travel days, Saturday is a big program day, and Sunday afternoon tends also to be filled with programs and exhibit time.
