Survey Closes April 25, 2021 @ 5 PM CST

The purpose of this research study is to investigate social issues affecting African American communities in Texas that prohibit its evolution, participation, and responsibility for self-documenting and collecting their local endemic narratives for inclusion in archives, libraries, and museums based on user information seeking and information behaviors in physical and virtual environments. This research study is being conducted by kYmberly Keeton at the University of North Texas. You are invited to participate in this research project because you are a vital member of your community. Your participation in this research study is voluntary. You may choose not to participate. If you decide to participate in this research survey, you may withdraw at any time. The procedure involves filling out an online survey (10 questions) that will take approximately 10 minutes. Your responses will be confidential and we do not collect identifying information such as your name, email address or IP address. The survey questions are about African American community archives and spaces, user experiences, and social issues. All data is stored in a password protected electronic format. The results of this study will be used for the scholar's pre-dissertation research and presentations. Feedback is welcomed.
