Message: Apologies for incomplete note.  I do think that searching APA's PsycInfo is a good idea :-).  Just not sure about doing that from within PsycInfo.  Also,  I was not sure of ID and PW to use in the "Remote Password" window that opens as I am searching within EndNote.

Subject: Searching EBSCO databases from within EndNote

Hi all.  I have a faculty member who is asking about searching EBSCO databases from within EndNote.  We can search our catalog (KentLINK) from within the EndNote software, but (as many of you may know), clicking on an EBSCO database from within EndNote presents me with a "Remote Password" window that asks for User ID, Password, and Group ID.

I am not sure that searching databases (e.g., EBSCO's APA PsycInfo) is a good approach to search.

But I wanted to ask the list for any insights, comments, or recommendations about this use of EndNote.

Thank you for any ideas that you can share !
