I have not noticed that! Interesting

We buy eBooks only and use EBSCO's ECM. I've seen mostly pop culture topics.

Thanks,

Mary

Subject: Purchasing leveled reader titles for ELL students

Is there anyone else here who purchases these types of books?  I won't go into the challenges of doing so in general, but does anyone else notice a disproportionate number of these types of books with the word "murder" in the title? It's quite strange and a little unsettling. Just three I found this morning are "Murder by Art," "Emergency Murder," and "Murder Maker." So very odd...

And if you'd like to chat further about purchasing these titles more generally, please let me know and I can start another thread!
